Yay! A thousand times yay! Fall is finally here, and I can finally wear SWEATERS! During late summer, I continuously had visions of chilly weather, hot cocoa, pumpkin spice lattes, s'mores, scarecrows, pumpkin mazes, and hayrides to "dance through my head." What was the one thread that held these little vignettes all together for me??? Sweaters, that's what! On one particularly hot, humid, sticky day during those last few "lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer," I literally went to my closet and stood there for fifteen minutes purveying all my beautiful sweaters! Every gorgeous autumn hue presented itself. I could have assembled a dozen different silhouettes. It was time to turn over a new leaf or two; and to help get the season started, I began to sort my sweaters: Which one would I wear first on that first day of Fall? Without question, my beautiful slate gray crocheted sweater, by Free People, which I LOVE would have to be that first ONE!
This chunky knit with boat neckline and bell sleeves has extended arm holes, outside stitching, and elongated V-detailing in the front and on the sleeves. I LOVE pairing this cozy and unique sweater with frayed boyfriend jeans. Perfect for any chilly day!
XOXO
